But, when those essential fatty acids can’t be used and we prepare yourself to consume our next meal, the remaining fatty acids are stored away in our excess fat cells.

This is where the problem begins. Those fatty acids that are being stored away combine with two other fatty acids and a glycerol molecule to make what’s known as a triglyceride.

Triglycerides are very big, and because of their size aren’t able to exit the fat cells like those free-flowing fatty acids can. As a result, triglycerides become stubborn body fat that is so incredibly difficult to get rid of.

“But here’s finished .,” Flatt said. “Those triglycerides can be targeted, plus they can be damaged back off into those essential fatty acids that can be burned by your body for energy. In fact, when we breakdown those triglycerides, it’s kind of like dumping rocket gas into the vehicle’s gas tank. Those broken down triglycerides overflow the physical body with a great way to obtain energy it actually loves to burn.”
